This comment was left by Kathi, a Davis County resident who candidate Chris Williams met while walking House District 14. Chris talked about his meeting with Kathi here. Thanks for the comment Kathi!
I am honored you have mentioned meeting me but more than that, you have actually put a picture of yourself with your brother out for all to share. Most politicians would never take that kind of chance - Bravo! We are so honored you have shared your story with us all. I will share the story and get your name out. I forgot to tell you when we met that I am a retired Air Force (22 years Active Duty) mother. I'm proud of my President and Nation, each military person fighting to keep of free, and those at their desk ensuring those individuals have what they need. I'm proud of anyone who is willing to truly fight for peace, fight to help others, fight to stand-up for honesty and pride in who we are (an some hope to soon become) - AMERICANS!
Chris, keep walking and knocking on those doors because there are many of us democrats out here! Thanks for sharing!

I also have met some amazing people walking the neighborhoods. Unlike the last time I ran, more people know who I am and more people want to take a few minutes and chat. There alot of great people in Bountiful and it is encouraging to see so many voters share the same views I do. Last night, was the first time this campaign season I had someone shut the door in my face. But I'm motivated, because I have been walking every night and so far, only one has turned me away. I love my chances. Bountiful voters are quickly realizing that in the legislature, we should make it non-partisan as much as possible. Hard to explain, but the attitude is different this time around than in previous elections. There are swing voters out there, we just need to find them.
